A recipe for you!
Here we have a recipe for you that you can use to make foaming soap for foamer bottles:
Ingredients:
-
1 part liquid soap (e.g. castile soap or a mild hand soap)
-
4 parts water (distilled water is best)
-
Optional: a few drops of essential oil (e.g. lavender, tea tree, lemon) for fragrance and additional skin care
Instructions:
-
Pour in liquid soap: Pour some liquid soap into your empty foamer bottle. You can either estimate this with a measuring cup or directly by eye. For example: If your bottle holds 250 ml, pour in about 50 ml of liquid soap.
-
Add water: Pour four parts water into the bottle. Make sure that the water is not hot, as this can affect the foam quality. For example: For a 250 ml bottle, add about 200 ml of water.
-
Add essential oils (optional): If desired, add a few drops of essential oil. This will give your foaming soap a pleasant fragrance and, depending on the oil, can provide additional benefits for the skin. Start with 5-10 drops and adjust the amount to your taste.
-
Close and mix: Close the foamer bottle tightly and shake gently to mix the liquid soap and water well.
Tips:
-
Be careful not to fill the bottle too full, as you still need space for the pump mechanism.
-
Shake the bottle gently before each use to ensure that the mixture remains uniform.
-
Experiment with the ratio of soap to water to achieve the desired foam density.
Example:
For a 250 ml foamer bottle:
-
50 ml liquid soap, 200 ml water, 5-10 drops of essential oil (optional)
